Love this breakfast joint. Fun and friendly atmosphere, their eggs benedict is a huge portion. Service is decent and food arrival times vary on how busy they are.

They dont take reservations its too bad because you might have to wait an hour before getting in as people seem to linger after their meal. Is it worth the wait? Not really, I wouldn't say they do anything differently from any other breakfast place except for the vintage decor.

Great food as always. Good price too. Staff is always friendly. One of my fav places to drop in when out and about.

Good & fast service excellent food & not expensive

I've been eating at Big Al's Mercury Dinner for over a decade. Great homemade food, excellent portions and excellent wait staff makes this a great place to grab a bite and have some laughs. Cheers..... Dave

This restaurant is my favorite. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very professional and the cuisine they serve is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a good dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Staff is friendly but unprofessional. Our food was cold by the time the waitress seemed to not take notice that our order was sitting at the kitchen window for 15 minutes as she served others. People that arrived after us got their meals before we did .This place is either hit or miss depending on who the server is and who is running the kitchen that day. The TVs next to the booths from the 1980s need to be removed as they are a magnet for dust and grit and it’s a little disgusting having to eat your food next to the dust bunnies that have accumulated over the years on the ledges that the TVs sit on. I was disappointed that the fries were not home cut as I can get better fries at a window these days at half the price.

Didn't get served for 20 minutes after being seated. Only got service/ an apology as we walked out... I guess that's what happens when you're coloured and going into an establishment like this.

Good quality food,good/quick service,clean, nice decor, very reasonable prices and varied menu.l have only eaten breakfasts there.

The food is ok, I wouldn't say it's the best. The burger was not layered properly causing the buns to become extremely soggy. The milkshakes were really tasty and I appreciate how they give the extra that doesn't fit in the glass cups into an extra cup. The atmosphere is very cute.

Great place to come for breakfast. My family loves the staff and old school vibe of the restaurant. Orders are quick and the quantity is reasonable for the price you pay.

It's at the end of the Tom Taylor trail walk. I started in Newmarket one day and kept walking and arrived at this Diner. It is fabulous and I was so hungry from my hike I ordered a lot with my friends. Good service and it can get busy I noticed but food and atmosphere on point for that dinner feel.

Clean, busy place that's only open for breakfast and lunch. The menu has many choices of a wide variety of meals, at a reasonable price point, with a children's menu. The diner is nicely decorated in a classic tv theme with legends like Lucille Ball and the 3 Stooges, and although some booths have tvs, they don't appear to work. Great place for a family meal.

Inviting restaurant with very friendly staff. Ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich, and fish and chips. Food did not disappoint. There was a lot to look at around the diner with the stylish murals and signs. Clean restaurant. Definitely will come back again :)

First the waitress forgot to take our order. The people that came after us were eating there food before she took our order. The food came and the poached eggs were well done like I asked but they were cold the bacon was cold and so was the toast the only hot item was the fries. The worst service I have ever had at the diner. Will probably never go back.

One of the greatest places to brunch in Aurora . Absolutely happy with everything at this dinner. The decor is cozy and nice, the staff are very friendly and helpful , food tase, portion is amazing, I recommend their California Egg Benedict, and the orders are ready in less than 10/15 min which i find fascinating. Prices are absolutely worth the food, and the portions are big. Love this place, and will recommend it.

This place has been around for what feels like forever and they have great food and friendly staff. 😊

Ordered the banquet burger didn't get any bacon or cheese. Burger seems store bought for $15 I would expect a hand made burger. Frys really greasy. Not a good meal. My wife ordered the fish one piece was brown inside and neither looks appetizing.

I went for breakfast. It was great.There was a lot of choice for breakfast.The atmosphere in it was fantastic. A lot of classic pictures of celebrities from the 50s.If you have a love for the 50s and 60s this is a fabulous place.I can imagine that it would be quite happening in the evening.
